We designed the Insurance Learning Academy to help young and older individuals choose a career path or start new careers. While being an insurance agent can be rewarding, it is not the only role in the industry. Understanding what licensed agents must learn and practice provides valuable insights into the health insurance landscape. This knowledge opens doors to various careers, including marketing, business development, IT, graphic design, human resources, payroll, and more.
When considering a career in insurance, many may not realize the numerous opportunities available. Insurance Learning Academy offers more than just pre-licensing courses; we provide genuine career paths within the entire insurance industry.
Insurance Learning Academy was founded by a family of licensed health insurance agents who recognized the importance of training quality agents. Kimberly and Bryce share a vision of equipping individuals aged 18 and up with job-ready skills. Many people seek change, new challenges, or different environments—something Kimberly emphasizes.
Bryce Nelson is a founding partner of the Insurance Learning Academy. He earned his Bachelor of Elementary Education Degree from Indian River State College in 2023. He has been a licensed health agent in Florida since 2020 and has worked in the education and insurance industry over the past 5 years. Bryce has a passion for education with a focus on offering career opportunities to individuals who desire to succeed in Career and Technical Education. Bryce taught in the Nassau County School System in 2023, then returned to the Health Insurance industry full-time to launch the Insurance Learning Academy. Bryce currently serves as an assistant coach for the Fernandina Beach High School Football team and enjoys playing golf, coaching football, and spending time with his family.
